I provide individual therapy to clients dealing with grief, anxiety, depression and other types of interpersonal issues. In a safe, nurturing environment, I help clients explore and understand issues that may be keeping them stuck or unhappy in their lives and relationships. This often includes understanding how the past effects the present resolving old wounds and traumas. I often see individuals who keep repeating the same patterns and want to form new, more satisfying relationships.
If you answer yes to any of the following, I may be able to help you improve your relationship:
A good relationship or marriage can provide a foundation that allows both parties to grow and flourish in all areas of their lives. Knowing we can count on each other increases a sense of trust, safety and intimacy.
I am committed to helping couples heal their relationships and create strong, healthy family units. I have extensive, post-graduate training in Couples Therapy using Emotionally Focused Therapy (eft), developed by Dr. Susan Johnson.
The eft model is an effective, structured, step-by-step model of change that incorporates behavioral and interpsychic theories to help couples. It addresses what is going on within each person and between one another. It is a short term model and looks for distinct changes that mark the process of growth in the couple. It addresses the importance of understanding the attachment styles of each couple in understanding fears and motivations for closeness and distance. eft is useful in helping couples resolve wounds to the relationship such as affairs and other significant disappointments and failures that have occurred. By understanding and addressing these failures the relationship can get unstuck. (see eft website)

I am personally committed to creating a safe, healthy environment in which my clients explore their issues.
My fee ranges from $80-120 depending on services provided. I meet with most clients and couples one session a week or more if needed.
